This place was The best I've been to in a very long time. We travel from BR to experience different restaurant . This black owned restaurant was all but perfect. Food was exceptional. Seasoned perfect, served hot and fresh. We had the Krabby hash with fried catfish and fish and grits. Portions were huge. Fish fresh and shrimp were big . We absolutely will give the restaurant 5/6 stars but there was street construction in the area, streets will tear your car up and parking horrible. Drinks were good, service was great from everybody. Place was packed but seating and serving our foods was very timely. Will spread the good news.

This place is Top Tier! Vibe was insane, food was immaculate, and service was like no other. The servers/bartenders made this first time memorable and I WILL be back!!!

For starters , the location is not the best for parking purposes however the restaurant does provide a very small parking lot (which is always full). The staff is nice and the food portions are great . My sister and I ordered the lamb chops which we had to send back because I kid you not, we were chewing for days . We couldn't even cut it with the knife ! Thankfully when they brought us a new plate , it was delicious ! It did take some time for all of us to be served (we were a party of 4) food and drink. My nieces got the catfish and my daughter got the oxtails which they both enjoyed . The ambiance is okay, the restaurant is very small and is decorated nice but due to the size , it's gets very loud in there because of the people and music playing . I would go there again but definitely order something else .

I first came here a year ago and have been back a few times since my initial visit. Nothing in my first review has changed! It's still the best brunch spot in the city (to me). On my most recent visit, my family and I came after my graduation, and everyone gave the place a 10/10; this is noteworthy because they are very particular about food!

The Rave on tick tock in New Orleans. Bspot is actually THEE Spot. The food is amazingly good. if i could I would 6 star this place. i went on an off peak time and it was still a full restaurant. They should have opened in a larger spot. Move some of those tasteless chain restaurants out the way This is truly the cooking New Orleans is famous for because the dishes are creatively prepared. They served Red Snapper over grits or rice. as you can see from pics the whole fish was crispy and fresh and the sauce was wonderful. My dish was catfish with a crab hash, over potatoes with an amazing sauce. I wanted to regret not getting the Red Snapper as I watched my crew devour their dish. But once i tasted my dish i was dancing in my seat And i can't end without talking about the service. Everyone was so professional and lively. They serve drinks in racks, so much fun to watch one person drink a tito tree. see my photo

When we arrived we were told there was a 45 minute wait so we knew to pack our patience. Much to our surprise we only waited about 20 minutes. The ambiance is cool with all of the "Bee" features. The music was a vibe with a live saxophonist, though a bit loud so it's hard to have a conversation. It was extremely packed which equated to HOT! When you walk towards the back of the restaurant where the restrooms were, it was nice and cold. Once seated we were informed to use the QR code to pull up the menu. We ordered the salmon bites for starters. I had the lamb chops with the honey garlic sauce and my partner had the oxtails and grits. Considering how packed they were, the food was extremely hot when it was brought out and it was brought out very quickly. It was all very good! Side Note: Almost everything is fried (lamb, lobster,etc.). The oxtails were smothered. The lamb was a little "gamy" but they were good. Also, the sauce saturated the plate which seems like a waste of product plus I wanted to eat my arugula but it was too saucy. My partner also ordered the honeycomb margarita. It wasn't bad.....a bit too sweet for my taste but it was ok. The service was decent considering how busy it was. The food came out fast, the servers were attentive, though it would have been nice to get more attention, particularly with refreshing water and napkins and basic things we asked for that should have been quick to get such as ice, a to go box, and water. It would have been great to have another bathroom option for such a busy spot where a large percentage of the clientele seems to be Black women. There was only one restroom which was clean, and smelled nice, fully stocked with must haves and nice to haves. The floor was a bit sticky but otherwise decent. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. There's an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of size of party which is why I feel like the service should always be on point! I'm sure I'd come back but I may try a less busy time.

Run don't walk to eat brunch here. Literally run. Try to arrive around 10:30am to be seated at noon on a Friday. I've tried a couple other times to eat here and wait times were over 2 hours and 45 minutes. Both times were on a Sunday however. The food is immaculately prepared and delicious. The service just as top notch. Our party of 6 was well looked after. I enjoyed the Grandma gumbo ($28) which included a bowl of delicious seafood gumbo, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a piece of fried catfish. Out table also shared the seafood dip, salmon bites, and the truffle fries. Everything was literally perfect. The drinks were cute and the online menu was descriptive and unique. Plan to come here when you have some free time on your hands. The dj was spinning tunes but it was quiet enough to have conversation and not have to scream. I will definitely be back. There's not too many places that I'd give 5 stars that auto include 20% gratuity and BSpot earned that and more. Well done.

Issa a Vibe! Okay so, I pulled up let me friend out and drove right to the next block to park. I did this, just in case it would've taken a while for me to find parking. When I walked back and go inside, he said, "They wouldn't seat me without y'all!" I understand why restaurants do this;however, I'm. I'm not a fan. This spot is quaint, but I'll definitely be back. My friends and I all ordered the same thing, an egg over easy/hard over friend fish/chicken with potatoes and cheese sauce... Baby it was sooooooo yummy. We also shared an appetizer. It was delicious too. Everyone was super friendly and hopefully. Erin..... you tocked my girl.
